StatsWorkout

Privacy policy

Effective 2 November 2026

StatsWorkout turns the activity in your Apple Health into statistics. This page explains exactly what the app does with your data. In short: your health data stays on your device, and the developer never receives it.

What the app reads

With your permission, StatsWorkout reads the following from Apple Health, read-only:

Access is granted per data type in the iOS Health sheet. Nothing is written back to Apple Health.

What never happens

Where your data lives

Workouts and step samples are read from HealthKit when you open a period, aggregated in memory, and shown on screen. They are not uploaded and not kept anywhere else.

Your preferences — distance and elevation units, default period, comparison baseline — and the demo-data switch are stored in the app's local storage. They disappear when you delete the app.

Demo data

For trying the app without Health data, StatsWorkout can generate sample activity locally from a fixed seed. It is generated on the device, is clearly labelled in Settings, and is switched off when you use Apple Health.

This website

The site is static: no cookies, no analytics, no scripts, no third-party fonts. The hosting provider records standard HTTP requests (IP address, time, requested file) for operation and abuse prevention; those logs are not used to identify visitors.

Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing for the developer to export, correct or erase on your behalf.

Your choices

Children

StatsWorkout is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data at all.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour changes, this page is updated and the effective date above changes with it.
